For the fifth round of the year, the GT5 challenge championship took place at Snetterton, on the 300 circuit.

On Saturday Morning, we had qualifying in the rain, where Will qualified P12 and Connor qualified P14.

In the afternoon, the plan was for GT5 challenge to have Race One. However, we suffered a major setback following a fire in the truck and awning. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, and the team would like to thank all those that helped both during the fire to try and save as much as possible, the marshals, emergency services and other teams in the paddock.

This caused the GT academy race to be red flagged, and the following British GT qualifying to be postponed, as well as the GT5 challenge race.

On Sunday, we had the postponed Race 1, where Will finished P11 and Connor finished P8. For Race 2, Will finished P14 and Connor finished P9. For the last race of the day, Race 3, Will finished P9 and Connor did not finish.

The Fire

Since the fire, Alastair did an interview with both Motorsport News and Autosport about the fire, and to express his thanks to all those that helped, and for the generosity shown since the event.
